Food for thought if you have that 117 coming up and want that layover. I just think we should fix the stupid stuff here before It gets out of hand.
I’ve called for that before.

That was kind of point. It’s our responsibility to make sure it’s a legal aircraft and we do check the emergency equipment, but how in depth do we go.
FAA has made a stink about those stickers before. Which is why I’m pointing out we haven’t had any real guidance on them.
As pilots we typically don’t look at the GMM

Nothing like an FA who is "unsure" about a seat/plastic trim piece/missing coffee pot/etc at D-5!

My brief, "uh... ___knocks, have fun... and there's probably some NEFs no one cares about... turbulence? ... no one knows...." lol

To add to the above post, if you hear
“Shake n’ Bake! ‘AUTOPILOT’” after the sterile light comes on, don’t worry that’s normal

This^^^

It’s these Flight Instructor-to-Airline types who don’t understand what to write up and where.

Why do we always have to blindly blame the former CFIs for everything?

How about not making broad generalizations of one particular pathway to the airlines. We've had CFI types here for 3+ years now, its not one group of pilots making these unnecessary writes ups. Its a personality type...
