I don't know how long he's been here but 5he rub is this... The company, until very recently, only seemed to care about new hires. They were throwing money at them like crazy... And that can't even make it through training? Yeah we're going to be a bit sore about that.

I've been busting my ass almost two years on reserve now. Did I get $17.5k bonus? No. I got another shift of ready 4eserve and a triple deadhead to work one leg. I'm not mad I didn't get a bonus... Im mad the company doesn't care that I'm still here driving their operation.

 

I’m not taking sides here but in all seriousness if your that mad you can always leave. No one here is stopping you

 

Easy tough guy. You've been here 15 minutes. You barely have made it to the line haven't done jack crap in the 121 world and you are in backgrounds at Southwest. Posts like yours above really aren't very Southwest like. I'd be very careful if I were you. These forums are not as anonymous as you may think. Good luck to you. I’m sorry but is actually the opposite. My point is, regardless how long I have been here , that we need to support new pilots, we need to feel them welcome. We are a group of pilots that are like a family. I met, in my few months here, a lot of great pilots and FAs, gate agents, rampers and so on... . I had fun and still having fun on every single trip I did. And people who I have flown with, know what i’m talking about.
New hire and potential new hire are looking at this forum to know better and understand how Compass will be for them and I still believe posting something saying that someone in this group think they are incompetent and also getting the bonus doesn’t help.
It is not their fault if someone is mad with our management . I spend time to answer to messages of new hire, asking me about training and training material. I valued this internet site amd it was very useful to me when I started and I’m just trying to be helpful. It’s pretty obvious you don’t know anything about me, which is perfectly fine. Where i’m going to work next or if I try to drop a trip offering money, it has nothing to do with this conversation . If someone is not happy about Compass , i’m sure he/she can leave anytime. But for new hires, I can only say... welcome you will enjoy most of us and we are here to help if you need. I hope I was able to clarify my point of view. Have a great day and smile life is good

 

lol oh come off it. I'm not mad enough to leave. Read my post history, friend, and you'll see what I mean. I certainly no champion for compass and definitely not a "burn it down" kind of guy either. I'm rational, can think macro, and am not even remotely the only guy upset with of the company's recent actions.
