If a reserve picks up out of open time, non critical pay, does that go on top of the 75 hr guarantee or does it go towards the 75 hrs/month?

Paid over guarantee, I'm 99% sure.

No. As I recall (dont quote me on this, but i think it goes along the lines of...), if you drop reserve days you will lose 4 hours of credit every day you drop. But if you pick up a trip thats worth more than that, you just get the difference added on.
For example, drop two days of a reserve (lose 8 hours) but pick up a 2 day worth 10 hours. You made back the 8 you lost, and then some. So basically, its not worth it unless its higher credit trip.

He didn't mention dropping reserve days...

It will be paid above guarantee. Make sure you email scheduling to ensure its coded as an open time pickup

I believe this is true only if you pick up on off days.

Also open time recode only matters for CAs this month since FOs were living the high life at 75 hours. Or are we talking about something different.

Yeah, but you can't pick up open time on your reserve days, unless they've changed that.

You're correct, you can't pick up open time when you are sitting reserve. It has to be assigned to you. If you pick up on your day off you will get it above guarantee, even if it's from trade board. You just have to make sure that it's coded correctly (OTA-call C.S. and make sure). I learned this from experience and talking to the correct people, after first talking to the wrong people. Goodluck!
