Allegedly yes. But why do I feel like when you non-rev on AA the rules are made up as they go and it depends on who you talk to. If not, KCM and gate check.

"I thought this bag would fit, weird guess I will check it"

Hi guys, I am coming from overseas and have a job offer with Compass. May I ask you .. How possible is a new hire to get a Seattle base ? In case somebody goes to LA any tips on where to rent an apartment ? it looks pretty expensive. Seattle looks cheaper though. Thank you for any kind of advise

SEA isn't much cheaper than LAX, and you will spend more time sitting instead of flying (on reserve). You should be able to hold SEA within a month or so after training. You can use commuter hotels to LAX the first month of you don't wanna setup a crashpad.

If you live in federal way, auburn, or tacoma (basically anything south) you can find far less expensive places to live. If you want to be in the city, you will pay! The commute to LAX isn't bad from SEA (20-29 flights a day). While airport ready isn't great, going home at the end of the day isn't to bad either. Hope the info helps.

Good grief. The CA open time in LA around the 9th-12th is ridiculous. And sickness caused by WAI hasn't even hit yet.

SEA CA is -2. When does 200% start becoming a reality?

Any coincidental sick calls around the 9th-12th by a majority of CAs are most likely going to require a doctor's note. It's not like the chief pilots are unaware of the conference.

^^^ DITTO!! ^^^ if you're looking for price you ain't gonna gain much by doing SEA over LAX. Typically guys don't fly much and sit airport reserve in SEA

I've checked skis on AA a few times at the ticket counter while listed for the jumpseat. No charge.
