I believe by August, possibly even next month, we should see normal floor for CAs.

Everything Da40Pilot said was pretty much fact.

In 2019: 1700 pilots are required to retire in just a 12 month span. That's only from AA DAL UAL and assuming no pilots would retire early.

In 2021: 2200 pilots are required to retire in just a 12 month span. Again, only AA DAL UAL.

Fedex already made public they're hiring prior to the wave coming.

So explain to me, JohnDoe, again why are you criticizing how long Da40Pilot has been in the airline biz?

Not downtown often, usually closer to the airport. Say within a few miles. But near restaurants, and things to do usually.

Default "I'll believe it when I see it"

"I'll believe it when I see it" is appropriate here...

On March 3, 2016 we were told the following.
"The good news is we don’t expect to solicit very long. We have the ability to train 24 captains a month and will be upgrading 24 captains a month indefinitely so that we can meet our own expectations in regards to adequate staffing and reserve coverage. This should lower our upgrade times quite significantly."

Well today our Captain vacancy was 6. And I believe we are missing a vacancy from two weeks ago mid May.

So what happened to "24 captains a month indefinitely". I think the email from the GM of Crew Planning was told by higher ups to send and email and state specifically what he was told to. I think some c**p is about come roll downhill.

Training always slows down over the summer. This feels like buisness as usual.

Don't you mean ten (6)

But don't worry, we are the industry leader in left to right seat transitions.
