I disagree... it doesn't "show he has no patience", it shows he's interested. Like I said, my friend got a call/hired at 1350, so it's not an hours restriction at that point, if he still gets the TBNT, something else is up with his app, or they've changed what they're hiring based off. Maybe wait til 1375? It won't make a difference, he can still get a class date at 1500... but if he waits til he's 1500, he will end up missing out on some seniority #s for no reason. Unless you're in recruiting, my advice is just fine.

I've heard and talked to people applying with 1425 and 25 of multi and being rejected for not having the required time even though they promised they would build the hours by the time they started class.
I'm not trying to be difficult, I am just making sure he gets the right info. This guy already got one letter of rejection, and now some are telling him to reapply in 50 hours. His case may be different, so I am just suggesting he waits till he has the 1500 hours.

It used to be that way, but I don't think that applies anymore. Notice how they even took the paragraph that said that out of the website and now it states you need to have the ATP minimums.

I don't have a problem with it. And I'm not sure if the "within 3 months" is applicable still. Hold on, this conversation is about a guy that applied within 3 months of having ATP mins and got the thanks but no thanks letter, right?. So, clearly, that's not the case anymore or else they wouldn't have told him they went for people that were more competitive than him. Remember, 1500 is the MINIMUM. The are ton of people applying with, i.e...2600 TT and 400 hours of ME.

Compass raised the minimum multi time to 50hrs so if he isn't building multi time then that could be the issue.

Pardon the topic change, but WTH is Compass Pays? No clue. Do we actually see money from this program?

Yeah, you'll see in avg about $150-$175 pre-tax added to your advance paycheck once every 3 months depending on how good our performance was. The max we can earn in a quarter is $300 if we meet all the metrics, although I don't think that's ever happened. The amount is trending up though. This is our version of "profit sharing".
