I previously worked for another regional- I still remember my interview where the hiring team was late. Overall my experience there was positive - good crews but my QOL wasn’t the best(2 leg commute) Looking forward to coming online at Compass!
Glad you feel this way and that’s why we were voted best forum on APC! One thing that we do have are some great pilots to work with. 99% are awesome. Think about them as an extension of the forum. There is the 1% you will run into but that’s just about anywhere. There are practically zero lifers and most guys are within +/- 5 years of your age. So don’t worry, you don’t have to listen to a guy talk about retirement and his 401k for 5 days straight.

I think you’ll like It here. I would say, despite our minor gripes (you will find that at any regional), we are pretty happy and Compass is a decent place to be. Look forward to flying with you! PM me if you have any questions, always here to help.

IOE was great! Learned a lot on it and it made sense. Good trips so far too, no complaints about them at all.

good to hear! That’s the way it should be. If your LCA is just checking boxed on the training form and that’s it you’re getting hosed. A good check airman will not just show you how to fly the airplane in the system, but how to actually e a pilot in the system. Welcome aboard!

Exactly. I think I learned more during my 25 hours of IOE than my entire 3 months in the school house.

Man, I’ve been here 1.5 years and I don’t even know how to read/decode my schedule.

honestly? I was here when the change over to iocc happened. I still don’t know how and refuse to learn. It’s garbage software.

I could be wrong, but it’s my understanding Lufthansa doesn’t even use it... and they make the bloody piece of junk.

I’ll give you lido charts. I’ve come around to liking them. The colors are pretty! All the same when I go back to using helps I won’t look back.

hell, I don’t even like roster buster. It routinely craps the bed with iocc. Now that’s probably a problem and rb trying to play with iocc, but still on its own rb has some serious flaws... especially on android (though I think it’s getting better).

The problem is the system wasn't properly scoped when TSH decided to purchase it. The system is designed for European airlines that aren't running under 117 rules.
