Did the dispatcher mean to email that to the entire pilot group? Doubtful..sounds pretty unprofessional but that needs to be kept between pilot and above.

It's not like CMP All Pilots gets filled out automatically once someone presses "compose new email", so who knows, but despite all that - lesson to take home from this, besides this dispatcher being unprofessional too, is that whenever a CA is rude to SOC, they are sure to pass the story around, so, don't be that guy I guess! LoL that email was feisty.

It wasn't even Cc'd to the CP or ACPs, so assume he thought when he sent it to us, he was sending it to them.

Company email should not be this entertaining.

Can we please have the entire SOC do a CBT on how to use email?

And to think, the people who want operational control can't even address an email? Awesome.

I bet if we changed they just changed CMPAllPilots to just simply Pilots 100% of these would probably go away.

Well, what the pilot allegedly said in the email is true. It's dumb to have dispatch ask "is it anything major?" every time I call MXC. I don't ****ing know. That's why I'm calling MXC. There's no reason why we should have to explain it twice when it's often time sensitive. Just connect me and do a three-way call if you want to hear about it right then.

It's not like it makes a difference if it's a coffee maker inop or a fuel quantity indicator not functioning. I used to have the number straight to SOC that bypassed dispatch and although the guy answering the phone was often confused as to why I was calling him asking for MXC, it's better than having dispatch interrogating us.

Gotta love the unintentional transparency as to how things really work behind the scenes.......
