I mean, we can do literally zip about compensation until the CBA is amendable, unless they approach us and if they do we have very little leverage turning down 1st year pay increases if we want to get out of here. The last LOA actually Lets them raise 1st year pay again if they wanted without our permission.

There will be a big IOCC grievance settlement coming too at some point...I'm sure the company will be looking to negotiate in regards to that as well, there will be a lot on the table in regards to that grievance, they knowingly violated multiple sections of the CBA...the union is in a very good spot to negotiate

Dont be fooled by payrates. I can attest that they do in fact get more. Nearly double what our PAYS is on performance, and profit sharing is thousands annualy. 100% DH, higher per diem, higher min day, leg-by-leg CX pay, everyone gets a 4hr holiday pay whether they work that day or not. Health insurance savings of potentially thousands annually. Sick-time that you dont have to be sick to actually use, and you can use that bank to pay for singular off days or dropping, our cash out when you leave. Vacation can be accrued, unlike here where you're forced to use it that year (wait til upgrade and vacation value doubles), 100% 401k match starting 4%, 1.95% of income doesn't go to ALPA, Medical and Passport reimbursement.
Compass we have 4 commuter hotels, paid out of base parking, international customs credit.
My point isnt to spread negativity, just to bring awareness to how much needs catching up next contract.

I know people might have been shocked to see an FO left Compass for Ameriflight, but I think it tells you that the reserve rules need to be improved. My thought is that person weighed the options of sitting reserve vs going and flying their tail off for more $. Sure 12 months on reserve is not long when you compare it historically- especially with recent memory of the lost decade, but in an era where folks can walk off IOE into a line elsewhere why would they delay their career? They came to build experience, not to get onto this seniority list for a permanent gig.

Yeah right! Quick upgrade if you take the CRJ over their Midwest bases. How about compare upgrade time for their LAX or SEA base, I would be interested to see.
