I could see AA trying to make PHX more of a "regional" hub and bringing more mainline birds to LA. who knows.

Keep in mind though that these numbers have recently included about 10 FOs a month leaving for other regionals, Ameriflight, etc. People have been leaving the right seat for places they would not normally go to because of stagnation. Now that we have movement again, I expect the attrition to go back to the historical number of 10 a month on average, mostly captains. Which is still very good - works out to 30% of the captain seniority list moving up every year. Of course, it's all predicated on things staying the way they are now...

10 captains a month is only 1.5% so around 17% for the year. But hopefully picks up a little more when united and other airlines catch up in training.

Wonder if FOQA will show a rise in unstable approaches after this read file...
Will a non-jeopardy write up really encourage you to attempt an unstable approach? Or motivate you to not go-around to avoid an unsafe situation? For heavens sake, we write stuff up all the time. It's not a gotcha mechanism for the CPs to discipline you.

For all you crazy nonrev/zedfare travelers, if you buy zed tickets but don't actually make it on the flight, how do you get refunded?

There is a refund option on myidtravel. Most airlines are quick about the refund. Usually a few days, I'm still waiting on a refund from LATAM from 2 months ago though.

MyIDTravel site, scroll to the bottom and click switch to desktop version, on the top is "ticket retrieval/refund"
