Keep in mind though that these numbers have recently included about 10 FOs a month leaving for other regionals, Ameriflight, etc. People have been leaving the right seat for places they would not normally go to because of stagnation. Now that we have movement again, I expect the attrition to go back to the historical number of 10 a month on average, mostly captains. Which is still very good - works out to 30% of the captain seniority list moving up every year. Of course, it's all predicated on things staying the way they are now...

10 captains a month is only 1.5% so around 17% for the year. But hopefully picks up a little more when united and other airlines catch up in training.

Yup! Glad to see that we're now backtracking on the "do a go around when it's the right thing to do and to help you with that, we're eliminating the paperwork you have to do so you feel comfortable making the right call."
Wonder if FOQA will show a rise in unstable approaches after this read file...

For all you crazy nonrev/zedfare travelers, if you buy zed tickets but don't actually make it on the flight, how do you get refunded?

There is a refund option on myidtravel. Most airlines are quick about the refund. Usually a few days, I'm still waiting on a refund from LATAM from 2 months ago though.

So TSA recently got an LOA including min day of 4.25. Nicely done TSA ALPA.
It's a great time to be in the airline industry, things are only going to get better. Not that most on this forum care about Trans States or any other regional, but to me it is a sign of what negotiating power pilots have in this environment (even TSA, GoJet and Mesa are seeing improvements).
