Looking for advice...
My wife and I are currently planning on moving from one state to another (600 miles) in early December. It's a fairly large scale move as well. If things hold around a two year upgrade, I should be headed to class in Oct/Nov. Yes, that can change. I don't necesarily agree on bypassing, but trying to fit this in between class/IOE/reserve might be a bit of a headache. WWYD?

Well sounds like u have already made up ur mind on what your doing. If your closing in December sounds like your mind is already made up on what to do.

Sort of. That is when the house is done. Just poor timing it seems. A better question
would have been regarding the upgrade training footprint. Just trying to figure out if this is possible to do around the same timeframe.

Upgrade is a 13 day footprint but expect it to take 1-1.5 months to completely get done with that and IOE.

Day 1 GOS to LOE schedule should be somewhat concrete, and I am sure you can talk to training crew scheduler to figure out. Bottom line is, you will work with your sim partner all the way till it's done, pair up with a flexible one or don't mess up your partners schedule.
