The reason why I brought us up because someone claimed Compass is the cheapest.
While you guys may charge the least, Delta sees a return on not only their own flying's cost but also American and United's that is flown at republic. So while our contracts might cost them more, they make some of that back.

Wow projecting 40 in attrition for July! That's fantastic
even if we only did 25 a month we'd still drop every single name on the seniority list by 2020. That's phenomenal. Nice to see a newsletter full of nothing but good news
Also: did they bump back the bidding date for oct vacancies? A week ago I checked and it said 7/20, now it says 7/25
Edit: ah yeah I show today at 5 now thanks. Looked at the wrong thing

But it's the Captains who are leaving that need to be replaced. 12 in June, 19 so far in July (from memory - today's newsletter), and July is only 2/3 through. I just looked at the numbers, and since the upgrades resumed for the June bid period, the company has been upgrading on average fewer than 9 per month. The math is clear...

I look at the notices of realignment, and at what bid period the upgrade will first bid in the new position, i.e. when they're Captains according to scheduling. For the June bid period, there were 6. July - 10, August - 6, September - 12, and now 10 for October. 44/5=8.8 upgrades a month. Even if they revise October to the full 16 (upgrading up to 16 per month as per the company communications), this would yield 10 upgrades a month on average since upgrades resumed.
