Hey you might try Biz Jet Jobs.com I have seen more than one BBJ job listed in there.

Good Luck

Why don't you widen your search up to and including King Air First Officer and not insult people that have been shoehorning large aircraft into unheard of airports since your first ride in a 737. Netjets doesn't hire directly into the 737 because that's not where you start in corporate. This is just as ridiculous as the threads with 2000 total and 1600 RJ wondering if there is a differences class for the 604. There is a differences class and it is called Part 135 charter. I'm not saying anyone can't fly corporate but I am saying that it has a respectful learning curve. Go to US Air tommorrow and plan your own 1 week 15 stop round the world trip including Airstairs, Baggage Handleing, Fuel Contracting, Catering, Security, maintennance, ect., ect, ect. because it will be required and don't rely on the handlers too much or you will quickly be looking for your second BBJ corporate gig. Until the airlines allow us to count 91 experience to bypass seniority don't expect reciprocating. Just imagine the response I would get in the Majors board if I posted the reverse of this thread.

My company just hired a 20 year Airline guy as a Citation Excel F.O.(Look it up, it's small!) and it's going fair to O.K. but it's got a long way to go.

Good luck and sorry about the merger.
Wow, what a complete tool you are! This guy ask a perfectly normal question and you respond like a total knob. It's a fact of life in this industry that companies like to hire experienced pilots and this guy is experienced in the 737. You think the fact that he's a 121 background means that he should start corporate life in a Kingair?!? Are you mentally disabled ? Let's see now....I bought a 737 for my business or family use....We're obviously not going to be using very small airports in uber-remote areas....So, should I hire a guy with thousands of hours in type or, should I hire a guy whose been flying a Citation/Lear/Hawker etc.... just because he's been in the corporate flying world? And by the way, most "1 week, 15 stop" trips are planned with a little help from a company like Universal or ARINC. You've been doing this how long? And this is the attitude you have? I bet you're a peach to live with on those trips.

When the airlines are in trouble, they sometimes furlough pilots. Pilots on furlough don't make money. If one doesn't make money, bills don't get paid and you go deeper into debt. Out of work pilots tend to look for other flying jobs so they can have a roof over their heads and feed their families. After all, they're pilots right?

Do you think airlines systematically throw away resumes from out of work corporate pilots? You my friend, have a chip on your shoulder.

Tell us again, what is so funny about pilots looking for other flying jobs?

Or did you have a point at all?

If that’s your (the hypothetical person you’re portraying) desire, then you better not buy into a company with a union (which NetJets has), because a union won’t allow cutting to the front of the line. The union members who chose that company early (NetJets as it may be) aren’t going to allow someone from the airlines, a different fractional, or from anywhere else to cut in front of them without paying dues to THEIR company.

Right or wrong, it’s a fact of life.

Now for a private company with a single plane... sure, but only if the Chief Pilot likes the guy. And I doubt you’re going to meet many Chief Pilots of small corporate gigs on APC... but it could happen...

The corporate vs 121 scuffle is one that has been going on for years and one that will continue well past your or my career. Fact is they both have their pro's and con's. I for one being a corporate pilot don't think would fit well into the 121 structure. I like being able to operate the aircraft my way.
While time in type is not the end all it certainly has it's appeal. Certainly to the insurance companies. Most owners would not concern themselves with the hiring and operation of said aircraft. They would hire a management company to either help select the staff for his/her operation or would have them manage/operate the aircraft out right.
Alot more goes into aircraft/flight management than just flying the aircraft. My company on international flights use Universal for flight planning assistance, but by no means hands the reins over to them. They wouldn't accept because of PIC authority. You're still responsible for dictating routing, time slots, and regulations. Also you're you're responsible for alternate and emergeny planning. All this takes time, and again something that flight planners won't do for you because of PIC authority.
In the end to think that we could instantly fill each others shoes just isn't true. I for one could not instantly fly 121, because their environment is different with different sets of rules. Cross-overs do happen and with everything learning has to take place. And remember we all are pursuing the same end goal.

You've obviously never seen the corp 737s in ASE. People generally buy corp jets to avoid "major" airports.....Even the BBJs.

Actually I've been there many times and seen a few 737s. But I'd hardly call Aspen small or remote. Challenging for sure.
