Salary Question
I am going to be negotiating my salary this week for a new job and I would like to get some opinions on what a reasonable and respectable salary I should expect and try to negotiate for a 91/135 Flight Dept
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Adding their King Airs to a 135 Certificate which would require writing/updating 135 manuals
Charter Sales/Marketing
FAA liaison
Cabin Class Twin (Recip) PIC
King Air Sic (Until I increase time in type eventually PIC)
Becoming Chief Pilot in 6 months time for a 3-4 airplane fleet (2-3tp 1 twin piston)
9-5 job during the week and probably on call for flying duties.
Anyone have 09 NBAA Survey for the pilot position part of it and CP position?
This is a position that is going to require a lot of responsibility and time not to sure where to start for a salary as it is not just a Pilot or CP position but a business position as well.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You might to check the Part 135 FARs on this point. I think you need several years as PIC before becoming Chief Pilot. As far as salary ( SIC on a King Air ) plus some office work, 35k to 40k depending on locale. Good Luck

Lear55 you are right about 119.xx you need 3 years of experience in the last 6 years minimum and checked and current in at least one airplane which I do qualify for. I guess I should rephrase. I will be assistant chief pilot of sorts for 6 months and then become chief pilot in 6 months and will be expected to perform the duties of chief pilot as set forth in the GOM and duties described in the Original Post. Sorry about the confusion. Any help is greatly appreciated.
