That's definitely news to me. I flew out of EWR for 4 years at Expressjet and props were not permitted. That airport was/is considered too high density and the props can't keep the speed on the arrivals/departures....except for the Q400. Maybe he had some type of special permit or managed to come in VFR. Or maybe Continental reduced their capacity into that hub but I highly doubt that.

No disrespect but there is no such restriction to turboprops at EWR....at least from the G/A side.

No disrespect, but I have flown a Corp. turboprop into EWR on several occasions within the last 4 years. Within the last 6 years, I have flown a piston twin there as well.

I agree, I love flying the Dalton. The speed limit comes up QUICK in the CJ3!
