Yea, and what's the deal with the Dalton Departure?
I know there has been a lot of talk on the forum about the departure but it blows my mind that NOS doesn't publish the departure.
Why just Jep?
It seems that the government is doing a serious dis-service to us by not publishing it among along with the other procedures.

It's crazy. Either make it a "real" departure and provide it to pilots (Not just Jepp subscribers), or get rid of it. Although it is in the AFD, but honestly, who carries those around with NOS approach plates?

Cross DANDY @ 1500' on the ILS 6, that one of the prob's people run into. It's a published crossing restriction on the Approach, and if approach is busy they may neglect to tell you as they clear you for the approach. Don't sit back and wait for the glideslope at 2000' on the ILS 6.

If it's your first time there (or first in a while) you might want to review these free presentations:
Teterboro Airport Briefing
Teterboro 6 Awareness Course | FlightSafety International Inc.
Was fun watching people on the ILS 6 circle Rwy 1 last week with the winds gusting from 250 up to 30 knots! Wish it was easier to turn that airport around.

The Dalton departure is a local VFR procedure. It is not rocket science, you climb VFR to 1300' at 190KTS or less. At 800', you turn to 280 degrees. What you need to know is even if you obtained your clearence from TEB, you must remain clear of the class B until you pick up your IFR clearence from departure. ATC understands and expects this and I have never had an issue getting that clearence but I doubt the Feds would ever issue a chart for it.
They have created the RUDDY TWO DEPARTURE which losely follows the above departure but without the uncertainty.

I've been into Teterboro a couple of times but it's been 5 years or so.
What are some other reasonable options for a King Air 300 if we're driving to Manhatten?
Newark KEWR?
Morristown KMMU?
Linden KLDJ?
Does ope offer more advantages than the others?
Do any of them work against GA?

You should probably just stick to TEB, it really is the easiest option. Plus you have great support if you have any maint. issues.
Props are not allowed to operate into EWR (except for the Colgan Q400s which were grandfathered in) so thats out of the equation and KMMU is about 10 miles farther and in traffic that extra distance can really suck.
