Chelsea, MA study. 32% greater or 16x higher than the "experts" predicted. More to follow from that study I'm sure.

So about those death rate numbers and shutting down the world......

You'd think you guys would be happy to see this research. It is better news. It's time for us to get back to work. Enjoy your weekend.
Serious question. I've been hearing/reading about people volunteering to get the virus, so they can return to the work place with immunity. Who here would volunteer?

I think they would have to give me HCL and a Z pack and supplemental O2.

I think it would depend. Would you take the virus orally, in an injection or would you be able to make out with an infected Megan Fox?

With our job most of us will get it in the next 18 months - volunteering or not. From what I have read they are saying 60-80% will get it. We’re not part of a group who might be quarantined until they get a vaccine.

"an infected Megan Fox?"

Isn't that redundant?

I would bet $10, more than 50% of us have already had it.

I don’t know about 50% but I agree that quite a few of us have had it. I’d like to get a reliable antibody test. All “essential personnel” should have the antibody test done eventually. They could even pair aircrew better this way. Have a negative and positive fly together so neither one could infect the other. As if scheduling doesn’t already have a hard enough job.

Some Arcpoint Labs locations around the country are doing antibody testing; pricing varies but is in the $100-200 ballpark. Not cheap, but perhaps cheap peace of mind...test takes 15-20 minutes.

I've heard some locations are scheduling into mid-late May, but try to work airline pilots in who believe they've already had it due to symptoms.
