I would say tens of thousands vs several million is a pretty good line to draw. And that even with the entire country shut down, we are STILL projected to exceed a normal year of flu deaths

The government. The idea the the Surgeon General and health advisors in the government want to save EVERY life is a joke. If that was the case they would argue to ban alcohol and cars. There is A number. The President and each governor gets to decide it after discussing it with their advisors (both medical and economic). They will never say what their number is though.

Push back on claims it is a 'miracle cure' and do your double blind trials to verify efficacy, but in the meantime don't poo-poo the 'anecdotes' of front-line health professionals around the world who have observed with their own eyes improved patient outcomes via shorter and less severe disease.

On the upside....when you tie one on and get challenged at tsa for reeking of booze just tell them you were out of sanitizer and had to use JD.

The reason they aren't admitting they already know it's a cure/treatment is because they don't have enough of it globally. We have 340 million people in the US alone, and the order was only for 28 million doses.... and we are having to fight for that little bit.
It's like the masks. Tell everybody they don't do anything, until we get our supply level back up. Look what happened with toilet paper. You think they'll really admit the Chloroquine & Azithromycin cocktail works while it's still in such short supply?
