Lockdown Proponents Are Science Deniers

Everybody can make their own choices and take their own risks. A functioning economy can easily take care of those who can't work, and solve the COVID problem at the same time one way or another.
Fundamentally nobody is entitled to tell me that I can't work (or go swimming, jogging, etc) because someone who is at risk might exhibit reckless behavior and leave his house. If you're at risk, it's on YOU, not on me to take precautions: STAY HOME.

Entitlement
I thought I had grown immune to the entitled rich boy whining on this forum, but this one really takes the brioche. None of you economy and freedom warriors give a rat’s patootie about the poor and minority workers who will not have any choice but to go to work and continually put themselves at risk so that you can decide what is best for you and your entitlement reality.

It's not even that. If you're at risk, stay home. If you're not at risk but just scared, stay home.

Could not agree more! If you fall into a risk category or are just scared for any reason, by all means lock yourself down, I'll defend your decision to anyone who has a problem with it. But unfortunately regardless of if we like it or not, we live in a world where if the economy aint workin' then almost nothing does.
Let businesses reopen, give the economy a fighting chance to rebound and return peoples livelihoods. It sure as heck isn't going to happen while mandatory closures and lockdowns are in force.

But regardless, that has nothing to do with MY choices.

There is a virus sweeping this country. It is called FEAR.

IF every person in the earth would wear a face mask for 3 weeks. What would happen to the virus? The experts wouldn’t agree on this out come either, but I bet the virus would still be out there waiting in the shadows. Look at the big picture. How safe is it floating on a rock in space?

Saying "none of you..." is 1. Overly broad 2. A nasty smear 3. Lacks nuance
Why do people get to cheer for a situation that causes me to lose my job then expect me to accomodate their employment plans?
There ARE low skill/low wage earners who want desperately to go back to work.
Covid's critical demographic is now clear, elderly, nursing homes, certain conditions. People have the information to make a reasonably informed choice.
PS Now that Im gonna lose my job I have to cut of my chartible giving, volunteering, time i spend with my family so I can go fight for what jobs are left to support my family. Please tell me again what I do and do not give a "rats patootie" about.
