TSA Numbers

It is all anecdotal but I’m seeing fewer and fewer first class seats open when commuting and dead heading. I’m hearing the people talking and there are more business travelers around me when riding in the back. Hotels are getting busier.

Would really like to know what the fares are like.

I work for a home based company and get tickets to/from work. This month I haven’t been able to get flights that make much sense from a “most direct” standpoint. Those flights have been sold out. I think that demand is slightly outpacing capacity at the moment....at least for the flights that I usually take. Also, my home airport was significantly more busy this last trip than I’ve seen it in a long time. Hopefully the numbers continue to trend positively.

I think that will be the game plan, nobody wants to lose market share by being stingy with capacity... especially since they still have to pay the mortgage on the jets, and still have CARES money.
