My take away from this adventure is the amount of seething hate my fellow man can direct toward me and mine over something so frivolous as this. To include the people I work directly alongside of - that was truly shocking to me.
To jt's other points that he's posted. I tried not to get in his way. Although early on I was trying to explain - with references from other doctors and researchers - how a "vaccine" for an URI is not a viable method of control. Yes they work great for stuff like polio etc (which we heard about that one a million times). Polio is not an respiratory virus. Corona's are. Vaccines are not effective. Or lock downs. Masks either. Several thousand doctors told us this early on, you can even read about in the Barrington Declaration. But that was all "misinformation"
We learned also the politicization of medical associations (see AMA). Saw the seedy underbelly of how dot gov intertwines itself into our medical care institutions and how they have total influence with using funding as their truncheon for compliance to mandates.
We wrecked a lot of lives, destroyed global economies and supply chains, needlessly killed millions by denying OTS approved life saving treatments and what will we learn from all this? Here in the USA its more "free" masks, test kits and after you get your 5th booster make sure to get your kids jabbed as well...SMH

Covid is here to stay, and it affects the travel world in a major way. It’s a valid topic. The mods were brilliant to isolate it to a narrow section of APC, because the thread drift on every other airline topic to this was getting old.
I don’t know? Maybe don’t read the Covid threads?

Moderna sent me to the Cardiologist
I was a perfectly healthy 38 y/o working out at OrangeTheory 3 times a week. A few weeks after my second shot of Moderna I developed a really bad palpitations. I could feel my heart skipping beats and it scared the ****** out of me. I legit thought my career as a pilot was over. I ended up going to the cardiologist for a Zio patch and full echo stress test. It magically seemed to cure itself a month later, but I’ll be damned if I’m going to deal with that ****** again. Booster shots?? It’s a hard NO from me dawg.

Is Hawaiian Airlines the only no jab no job
Please help me determine what major airlines are granting religious accommodations. I'm a pilot for Hawaiian Airlines and I was forced to take an unpaid leave of absence in January for not being vaccinated. I, along with 499 other employees from all departments requested a religious accommodation, of which only 6 were granted, and 0 for any flight crew. Many employees were terminated and like me many were forced to take a 12-month unpaid leave and the company states we will all be subject to termination if we are not vaccinated by the end of our leave. Of the following list of air carriers, do you know which carriers are providing religious accommodations for flight crew? I believe every major carrier in the United States is accommodating those employees with sincerely held religious beliefs but I would like to have confirmation if you are an employee or know if these companies are providing accommodations allowing flight crew to work. Thank you very much!
