Hantavirus is endemic in mice in the US, but again we don't have that much contact with wild mice.
Same for mink, even if farmed, farmers are not living with them and governments in Europe can (and have) culled infected herds.
What you don't want is a flu-like pigs/chickens/peasants reservoir arrangement, which seems pretty unlikely so far. There are a gazillion pathogens out there, but only flu has made it big-time in that kind of niche.

That's fine. People are not in close continuous contact with bats. Bats are a big reservoir for rabies, but it can't get to humans often enough to become epidemic.

Bats definitely took some bad PR with this whole thing. They are actually great animals...insect eating machines, no risk of rabies (key is not eating them)
