My buddy (who should know) says DoD called off the terrorist vaccination program. Apparently they wanted them vaccinated to facilitate interrogations and trials, which have been on hold. Somebody didn't consider optics I suppose.

I'm trying to dumb it down for some people on here. My point is there are reasons to vaccinate the inmates that benefit those on the base. Any medical condition an inmate has is a potential threat to security. It's like any non-normal in flight. It's a deviation from the normal which increases the chances of threat developing into an undesired state. As you said, optics is what shut it down because the general public can only read the headline as "Biden likes terrorists more than Americans"

I was gonna ask how in the world these people are still being detained and Gitmo still open, but then I read these comments. Thanks for educating me on American values. I mean, isn't twenty years in a holding cell long enough to figure out if someone is guilty or not? What an abomination of justice.
