Moderna, she probably has the Brazilian variant, age 68, she is a nurse who was working with Covid patients. I'm not sure of her health history, but her case was mild, then she suddenly developed blood clots in her lungs.

Its it possible that the duration and strictness of Michigan NPIs relative to Texas has played a role?
Indiana has been open just about the entire pandemic with the typical spikes and now generally improving numbers. As of 4/6, masks are “suggested.”

Theres something up with Michigan. Maybe it’s the potholes.

The strange thing is that Michigan experienced a massive third wave like the rest of the country, but still got a 4th wave which is looking to be worse.

I’m a Hoosier myself; many if not most businesses in my county still require masks (I’m fine with that).

We’ve definitely seen an uptick the last few weeks, in cases/hospitalizations/ICU usage/ventilator usage but actual daily deaths have thankfully been steadily low.

We are going to have to hard lock the borders, release a new round of updated vaccines, and try to eradicate Covid, and its variants.

The situation in Brazil seems to be the biggest indicator of how things can be if nothing is don’t to mitigate it. Which is why I’m glad we masked and limited what we did.

Brazil has a lot of pathologies that we don’t share-lifestyles, government corruption, favelas, various social strata. Not very comparable.

Not a single study or source has come out that show cloth masks do more then absolute negligible effects if not cause more harm. Why do some of you guys cling to mask like a religion. Wearing cloth masks outside, in cars and for more then 15 minutes collect and attract more bacteria then help. I can understand people thinking masks work 8 months ago, but to still think they help is just grounded in feelings with no hard evidence to support.
