Sorry, it's the opposite. The mandate came after everyone had the chance to get the vaccine (for any of the 50 states) AND several months passed. There was no convincing them. They didn't want it, period. If they did, they would have taken it. But I agree with you that coercing them makes them even more angry and POed. In the end though, I think most nearly all will take it over threat of losing their job.

Yes; first time early last year I was unvaxxed and i recently popped hot (on the 14th). I’ve been sick for ten days now. I’m not gonna die but I have better things to be doing other than watching food videos YouTube all day (no taste & smell). Note that I did not lose those two senses the first time.

Some estimates are that roughly 30% of people who contract Covid and recover without a pre existing vaccine do not produce enough antibodies to resist a second re-infection. Data collection in a less than ideal testing environment leaves much to be desired, however.
(This is not an endorsement or polemic about the efficacy of the vaccine, merely one data point)

News about “natural immunity “ after an initial Covid exposure and recovery may be overblown.

That's why the people that say "I have the antibodies" are worth ignoring. Might have T cells and memory B cells... but testing for those is WAY more expensive than a $10 shot

There is no point in testing for that either, the J&J, with its significantly greater cellular response, totally fell apart(even CNN is reporting 3% VE https://www.cnn.com/2021/10/16/healt...day/index.html)

Looks like it was a two-does regimen all along, and they just forgot to give people the second shot.
