Imo the government is going to have to offer testing in leu for government contractors for employers that don’t want to mandate for whatever reason. Hospitals in my area are passing out religious exemptions like candy no questions asked in an attempt to solve staffing issues. It’s going to end up setting a bad precedence as that’s not really the intent of religious exemption law. We’ll see what happens.

That battle has long ago been fought and settled... for draft dodgers. The gov has some discretion in granting conscientious objector status.

If more CEOs who CLAIM to be against mandates did exactly this, handing out exemptions like candy, the mandates themselves would quickly crumble. It would be an interesting First Amendment case if the government tried to argue that exemption holders weren't "religious enough" to have earned the exemption.
