Default 1% Union Dues

Please take the time to write and call demanding a reduction of dues to 1%.

Each and every day.

This needs to happen now before ALPA National sucks our money into the blob.

I actually put this on the online survey when they asked how much return for our money do you think we get.

Me too. I also added that one way to help get there is discontinue the magazine Air Line Pilot In its print form. That should be 100% digital. I used to read mine but it is nothing more than ALPA volunteers giving each other rewards.

That is a YUGE cost to have that printed and mailed. Not just to the 13,500 Delta pilots, but to every member of the ALPA commubity.

What, you don't like the "spot the difference" puzzles?

I agree Jerry.

I am composing a Sol Castell style cut and paste to send every day to my rep and Capt. Bartells.

And wasting millions on phone polling. Costs pennies to poll all of us.

Thank you!

Long past time to cut our dues. Now is the time.

I do the ones in my 5 year olds Highlights magazine. They are more challenging and rewarding.

Seriously, I would like to know the cost to print 50,000+ copies of Air Line Pilot and distribute it every month.

80% of the information published is reprinted from fast reads and other blast mails. The airline profiles in the Dec or Jan edition were about 20 pages that contained information that is useless. Forgive me, but I don't care about Bearskin airlines.....

This magazine should be digital. Then I can just hit delete. It is not eco friendly, nor practical.
