Yep, my mistake. That’s what I️ meant.

And what I️ heard about upsizing the order didn’t include any info on price. I’m sure that detail would also be determined after the final tariff ruling.

Weird, I’ve been using Tapatalk to post and it was posting correctly. Now that I’m seeing them on the website I see what you’re talking about.

It should have probably been assumed that Delta would upsize to the 300 anyway, it's a lot more plane for essentially the same operating cost. Also, the CS100 is more for short field performance that Delta doesn't need.



I believe that Ed pressured Airbus to buy the Cseries, although he can never publicly admit that until this case is out of court. Opening up a second line for an airplane that is not selling makes absolutely ZERO sense, unless you are trying to appease a certain customer. There is no indication yet that the Cseries will takeoff in the US market.

I figure this is a good thread to discuss this article. There is an interesting discussion of the 80-120 seat market gaps and strategies about 2/3 of the way into the article.

How delta is out-managing its rivals- a look at RASM

Your thoughts?

It's a great article. Interesting to see that the author works for Bombardier.
