I'm somewhat mystified as well that c series isn't going to be one this AE. When you figure it's nearly a 3 month(ish) schedule from average time of award, geek stick at home study, 1 month(ish) of school, 1 month of OE, it seems odd they wouldn't start getting the ball rolling. I wonder if there isn't a delivery scheduling issue?

For some reason all of the black background control panels on the C919 remind me of the Death Star control room....

List price of $30/mil per copy. Probably way cheaper if you bought a block of 50-100.
A 717 with a new wing and RJ engines!? What’s not to love! It’s got that sweet 2x3 seating layout that Puddy is always so hot and bothered about.
And look at the cockpit!
Nothing like a Collllllllllllinsssssss FFFFFFFMMSSSSSSSSS to make a new FO straight out of the CRJ feel at home.

Oh man, I dropped the ball not bringing the ARJ21-700/900 into the mix.

I wonder if the flight controls are hydraulic or Douglas fly by wire?

I'm surprised nobody brought up the Irkut mc21. Made in Russia.
If you say something bad about Vladimir, it sends poison through the cockpit vents. Though it doesn't seem to have with table and/or footrest so I'm not sure.
It does have active/interconnected sidesticks which is cool.

Couple of interesting rumors
- Airbus considering a carbon fiber wing to improve the A320, built by their new partner
- A 320 / 321 with a new wing would come to market quicker than Boeing's NMB or 737 replacement
- Nothing can be formally announced until the Bombardier deal closes
- The Farnborough Airshow might be more interesting than usual. Boeing supposedly isn't in a position to commit to their 757 replacement until this fall
with a 40k engine, the rumors get even more interesting
