If you really want cutting edge design and next level innovation the Comac c919 is really where it’s at. Way better ergonomics, LEAP engines (far more reliable than the geared Pratt’s) and just LOOK at that cockpit:
And seriously, getting the trade case against Boeing dropped was pretty easy, Delta doesn’t go for easy. They embrace a challenge.

The A320 cockpit was ahead of its time, but today its past it's prime. All the newly developed clean-sheet cockpits the past 15 years kick its trash. Since most here only see refreshes of old rehashed flight decks, the 320 appears modern in comparison.
