With what iCrew is showing right now, it would go a least as low as 11,000. Maybe everyone is waiting till the last second...

That sounds about right with 320 and 73N approaching 9k and 10k respectively.

How senior/junior are you? Might be all relative.

Of course its taken Bombardier's Montreal plant 7 months to put out 14 total to all airlines. For reference we were supposed to have 15 by the end of year and 27 by summer 2019. Maybe Airbus can fix the deliveries.
I predict first c series in Dec. We won’t have four until April.

I hope it goes that junior, but I'll be surprised if it goes lower than 10,000. I know 3 320 guys in the 5000's who say they are bidding it for better seniority. I wouldn't be surprised to see the C series go more senior than both the 320 and 73N and a bunch of 9500 to 10500 guys get 320 and 73N slots.

The other issue is guys who typically may "sit on the sidelines" and wait for a bid or two won't sit this time. It appears as if we are going to one massive bid per year for narrowbody A positions so you can't plan on waiting 2 months for another bid.

Pilots won't bid a lower paying aircraft just because they think they might have seniority. SLC As are smart enough to get the seniority qualifiers correct. If they move from the 320 to the C10 for seniority, it's because the C10 went junior. I don't follow the logic on the seniority inversion.

38 bidders senior to 9k on the 320 have as their first choice already. 23 bidders on the 73N have it as their first choice. I'd predict the junior AE on the 320 or 73N is 8,000 in SLC. The potential new As who sat out the last MOAB, will be out in force and fill in most 320 and 73N As above the 80% mark.

You hit the nail on the head. In the two subsequent AE's since the 2017 MOAB they've posted 0 "SLC A" vacancies. I'm thinking the guys/gals that were on the fence about upgrade (pre-MOAB) are chomping at the bit to take an upgrade now. No telling when the next real opportunity will present itself.

Bid what you want. Want what you get!
