Top Men Info Next AE should be in the beginning to mid October. The AE will be mostly about the C Series bid and will ultimately be based in both NYC and LAX. The timeline on FAA certification of the C Series School will determine the size of October bid. Talk of it not being until beginning of Jan 2018 which then they don't want to get far ahead of themselves. If that is the case then good chance in October only a small number in NYC initially. If earlier then they want approximately 70 crews total with 35 NYC and 35 LAX. The rest of the Oct AE will be mostly new hire fillings and some narrow body backfill. Next AE should be mid Feb and will contain the 35-45 350 crews, additional 330 crews and a significant number of 73N and 320 crews due to 321 and 739 delivers. Also possibility more backfill ER, 777, and 765s.

Sounds like a goat-rope. Either way, the airplanes are coming. So if they don't award enough pilots and it gets signed off, they are parking new jets. If they do award enough, but the FAA delays the sign off, they are parking new jets. Maybe time to call Montreal and see if they can fit in some new students...
