$1.67 per month so the company can try to min turn you from an international flight to a follow-on domestic flight and not take a delay? On your dime? Have at it. I'd wait in the customs line. But that's just me. I think that's the point Klondike was trying to make.
I would say that the large majority of crew going through customs are finishing a trip or at least a duty day. GE is absolutely worth it to cut the hassle factor exiting customs, especially then. Sent from my SM-G900T3 using Tapatalk |

It is not going to change how the company builds rotations. Personally, I would rather spend my time between flights doing other things rather than saving $1.67 to prove a point. My time is worth more. Most people that use Global are either finishing a trip or going to the layover.

Its $1.67/month out of pocket. Plus the interview and paperwork drill time.
You don't have to use it even if its in your pocket. So if you feel like using the app or standing in line for some reason...feel free. It also gives you tsa precheck for travel. And probably could put it on the tax deduction list without notice. Best $100 I ever spent so far as work is concerned.:D |
Color me crazy, but the wife and kids have GE also. Makes life much easier when we travel overseas.....which is several times each year. Recommended for all.....
