I get it, but the greater point is that GE is worth it for our own sake, forget the company and how they create pairings.

I would say that the large majority of crew going through customs are finishing a trip or at least a duty day. GE is absolutely worth it to cut the hassle factor exiting customs, especially then.

Its cute that you think the company even remotely cares.

It is not going to change how the company builds rotations. Personally, I would rather spend my time between flights doing other things rather than saving $1.67 to prove a point. My time is worth more. Most people that use Global are either finishing a trip or going to the layover.

Or trying to catch the last flight home.

It's saved me plenty. Don't leave home without it.

Its $1.67/month out of pocket. Plus the interview and paperwork drill time.

You don't have to use it even if its in your pocket. So if you feel like using the app or standing in line for some reason...feel free.

It also gives you tsa precheck for travel. And probably could put it on the tax deduction list without notice.

Best $100 I ever spent so far as work is concerned.:D

Color me crazy, but the wife and kids have GE also. Makes life much easier when we travel overseas.....which is several times each year. Recommended for all.....

AMEN to that. Precheck and GE with the family is well worth it. If you really want to splurge, get the Amex Platinum and spend an addl $175 to add three family members. GE cost is reimbursed, you get Sky Club, Priority Pass and Amex Centurian lounge access. They also reimburse $200 in airline fees (food for purchase while commuting or on vacation) and offer $10-15 per month in Uber credits.

The $1.67 is my money for my benefit. If I save 20 minutes between turns, because I had GE, it is my 20 minute lunch/dinner break on the way to the airplane.

It's also cute that you missed the entire point of my post.
