It's also cute that you missed the entire point of my post.

Well...as said before, you could buy Global Entry for you if/when you need it for your benefit (commute home/TSA Pre, etc...) and simply bypass Global Entry and go to the slow lane when you want to stick it to the man...which I believe was the point of your post. Win-Win for you.

This.

I agree its BS company doesnt pay for it (or uniforms, or hotels for newbies, etc). But I got GE for me and for my convenience, not the companies. So far its been well worth it. Ymmv.

The "cute" was snarky, apolgies.

I agree with everyone who gets it for themeselves. I don't travel internationally and I try to avoid customs at the end of a trip. For me to get GE it would only be for the turn during the middle of a trip. So I'll be the guy hanging out in the slow lane. Say hello as you go on by!

If you're in dtw the Ambassador Bridge office had next day appointments this spring. Just get an Uber or Lyft to go and wait for you took less than 15 minutes.

Amex Platnum cardmembers will have the fee reimbursed if you pay for it with the card. FWIW

Same with the Chase Sapphire Reserve.

BTW, how long does the application take to be reviewed? I submitted my application a 2-3 weeks ago and it still say pending review.

My passport has expired. Does any know how to transfer your global entry to your new passport?
