- Crew meal for first leg when van pickup is earlier than 0700 local time or the contracted hotel doesn't serve breakfast.

- Credit each pilot 4 PB days when their APD resets. This would be like having paid APD but no APD penalty (when you can't pick up flying there).

- Full per diem

- Remove restrictions on performing military duty that exceed those on performing outside civilian duty.

- Pilots transitioning from a Reserve month to a Regular month shall not be flown into days off (or tighten parameters when they can do so and invoke significant premium pay)

- Let mil pilots determine if they want PBS credit for pre-posted mloa (or not). Would let them fly a full Delta schedule around mil duty instead of being prorated down; incentivizes pre-posting of mloa

- Implement all PBS parameters to PCS template

- Automate DH listing

- 2 weeks more vacation at all longevities... in exchange for allowing pilots to sell back up to 4. (The only way I think we'll ever get more vacation).

- 1 hour pay above reserve guarantee for pilots who go unused on short call.

- "Sick if needed" for reserve

- Enhance reserve list visibility... let us see what schedulers see for better SA on who is legal and who is not

Another thing I just thought of.

I should be able to go into icrew and select sick/well accordingly.

For a recent sick call I was on hold about 12 minutes. Almost fell asleep but the voice on the other end snapped me out of it when they finally got around to me.

Sick if needed?

As in a way to say you're sick without having to talk to someone? Or are you trying to say a way to call in sick but only if assigned. I think it's a non starter to have an option to "call in sick" but it doesn't count as a sick day if you aren't used if that's what you mean.

I'm told that other airlines have this (might be UAL?). If I'm 10th on the list and they only burn through 4, no reason I should have to burn sick time. Teachers don't burn sick time on a Saturday. If I'm #3 and they had to skip over me, absolutely chalk it up as sick time that day and until I call in well (or better yet...set icrew back to "well").

Yes to what is bolded above. American already does this. Basically on reserve you call in sick and if you were never going to be called - you don't use any of your sick leave.

You don’t burn sick time on a day off, either.

Should a guy on NQAT call in sick and be charged sick time in the middle of his paid time off??? (No, that would be nonsensical). If I'm not needed by the company, I have no obligation to them. If I'm needed (sick if needed), I get charged sick time if I can't meet that obligation due to illness.

Not sure why any pilot would resist this. Would you?

I’m not opposed to anything but fallacious logic

This is a fun thread all in all but you do know that you will not be getting any of this in reality, right?
