Old topic, but NAVBLUE Web App stinks!!!!!
#51
I've seen this advice from the company so I'm not directing this at you. But seriously, what other web app do I use that requires me to clear my cache every month? I like my cache, it lets me be lazy on the web. Clearing it is a PITA since it erases a lot of things I'd prefer to keep. Why can't we get a bidding product that is easy to use and doesn't require the user to take actions to mitigate the problems cooked into the software?
You can clear the website data for just *delta.com instead of clearing out all browser cache. Method varies by web browser.

Promise I'm not picking on you Han. The above example of not realizing you can simply delete just the delta.com cache, is a perfect metaphor for what I often see with guys who have "major" issues with Navblue. Often I find guys complaining that it doesn't do X...then I show them that it does in fact do X.
That said, I still have issues with it that I would to see addressed. Some have already been fixed and I assume most of the others will be fixed relatively soon.

About the time I can use EZBid on my Mac w/o bootcamp or windows. That's actually one of the requests I've pushed up to the PBS guys. I'd like the trips to overlay a calendar then allow me to simply click them to add to my bid. I've never used EZBid because I've found it easy to knock out my 2-3 bid groups in no time with both the old UI and the webapp.

AZ on the PBS Committee sure extols the virtues of the product but it just keeps falling short every time I use it.
It would be really nice if Nav Blew bought out EZBid with the intent to keep the intuitive (and simple) EZBid interface and merely fix a few of the more intricate modeling shortfalls that EZBid has.
Not gonna happen but a guy can dream. 😁
