as opposed to a reserve line that pays 75hrs, and, since we're overstaffed, no flying either.

Anyone know off hand if NYC 320A is one? I can go look it up myself, I know. Just on the road at the moment.

Nyc 320 A and B are both on the list. Not many A’s as I recall though.

I was gonna take a SIL but I haven't done a thing on reserve in so long I'll stick with my 72 hour garentee.

Definitely a better deal, unless you want to be in New Zealand.

Sadly....there are pilots who wouldn’t think twice about sitting reserve from New Zealand.

That's definitely what the company would have you think. Personally, I think most folks know they're paying attention. If you're dumb enough to get caught out of place now, I sure don't have any sympathy... particularly not after the accelerated assignment of short calls.

The question is, can the Company unilaterally decide not to award any or all the published SIL's? LOA 2 does not seem to address this...

But if the Company is THAT overstaffed in some categories, I think I'd bid reserve and take the month off for reserve guarantee if I was senior in category...

We are taking delivery of 7 A321s in June alone.
