SLC-HNL on a 757?
#11
I just noticed that SLC-HNL is on a 757.
What kind of payload hit is it taking? It's blocked at 7:15 and with SLC being at over 4,000ft elevation you'd think it would be a stretch for the 757.
Anyone flown it or can provide some insight? It seems like it's the domestic high density configuration as well (20+179=199 total pax).

Neither flight had weight restrictions that I remember.
757 don't care.

If you do visit, backup plan is to ZED on AA to MIA or JFK, UA to IAH, and often you can buy one way tickets LIM-FLL on both JB and Spirit as a last resort for less than $170. Now you know why the yields to LIM are probably shietz.....its the southern limit of the LCC's reach from FLL.

The Rolls engines didn't come that way. When Continental (that would be Hauenstein calling the shots) decided to go all in on the 752 across the pond, they had the engines rerated.

The 757 on Pisa also had a seating capacity of 168 passengers. The one used on the SLC-HNL route are the high density 199 passenger configuations. That's basically an extra 6,000lb.

The seating capacity on the United 757s is also 30 less compared to the 757 we use on the SLC-HNL route.
