Default Back to training

I’m going back to Virginia Ave for a new aircraft (320) at the end of the summer. I recall in my previous training there was some sort of software that allowed me to go through the entire LOD for the ESV test. All I see now is a practice esv app that takes 10 or so questions from the bank. Is there a program that will let me run through all of the possible questions?

Also someone told me it’s an open book ESV now. True or false?

Thanks!

It is open book, but you can't use the LOD. You could look up every answer in volume 2 using the search feature, but you are either going to run out of time or give up out of boredom.

There is no software that I am aware of that covers the entire LOD, but you can make your own.

Before I look at anything, I take the LOD and turn every part of it into a flashcard. I usually end up with 300-400 flash cards. After a few cycles, I remove the ones I get right and I am only left with 100 of the hard ones. Then I go through the Pelesys course. The whole process takes about 2 weeks.

There’s an app in the delta catalog called ESV that has a couple fleets in it already. Can do review or practice ESV runs I think.

There's a complete flashcard deck for the 737 on Cram.com. There may be one for the 320, too.

The Brainscape app does that for you. It removes cards you always get right, and throws the ones back at you that you fail to get right.

Also know there is a Systems LOD and PA LOD or Performance and Automation LOD. 2 tests, one the systems and then at your 241 the PALOD.

You'll also get a new to manufacturer day if you've never flown the Airbus. It preps you very well to be an Airbus pilot...

Those are the cute 25 year old Language Of Destination speakers from the Philippines, Poland, Mumbai, Tokyo, Sao Paulo, Rome etc that you go out to have fun with on international layovers.

Not sure if the 320 has many of those.
