Agreed.

IMMHO, using the radio is the better device. Inflections, sarcasm, frustration and possibly anger can't be properly delivered or interpreted in print, ala APC, ChitChat, or FF.

Take time, take care of yourselves and your crews, and BE SAFE!
DAL can afford a delay here or there, an incident/accident...

Not so much.

The status of the door is irrelevant. If you're fatigued you're fatigued. If you're too scared to make the call because the door is closed then you wouldn't make it if the door was open.

Sounds like technically true news content built on a predetermined fake narrative intentionally for the purpose of sensationalism force multiplied by a preexisting borderline fetish interest in all things aviation.

That rag has been repeatedly weighed, consistently measured, and constantly found wanting.
