I also found that 800 seniority guy's bid fairly peculiar, and he'll be stuck until the bitter end whenever that might be. Heck, there's that guy in the 1200s that bid NYC 220B and now just swapped to SLC -- who knows why guys bid what they do? The results are there for us to see and if those guy didn't bid the 88 for a free move, then as you said it's STILL a lot of work -- but for no apparent reach around at the end.

few of my friends on 88B were trying to bid off after the displacement was cancelled last month. Supposedly during the bid window, their iCrew showed NO Seat Lock/Freeze, but now post award, the Freeze is back to their new hire seat lock date....

Or the sub 1k bidding to M88A from 320A or the 1k seniority bidding 220B. Different strokes for different folks but i cant figure it out.

What in the actual ****?!?!?! So they can just ignore people's bids?!
You had a ATL 73 bid in with no qualifiers and it went junior to you? And you aren’t under a seat lock?

I’m in same boat. At least two other 88 F/Os I know of in same boat.

We would have seat locks but after the cancelled 88B displacements we were all under the impression the locks were cancelled. We were all affected by that.

Called MEC office. What else can I do?

I'd send an email to Bob Schmelzer. Or maybe ask him the question on SkyHub.

Quick glance all i saw was 22.F.11 and i don’t see seat lock mentioned. I’d wait for contract admin to get back to you since they would be the experts here. Did they provide a PWA reference that you wouldnt have a seat lock when they canceled your displacement?

Super seniority. Lifestyle. Don’t need the money anymore. Or get multiple GS trips in a new category. Know the airplane is going somewhere they want to go. Want to fly with someone. Everyone has a reason.
