There is a page titled “Flight Operations News”

For some reason nothing is coming up for "Flight operations news" Any suggestions?

The old "your shoe laces are untied. Made ya look!" Don't cut it anymore hu?

OK,

It was funny the first time. Not so much the second time and now it is just a waste of time and annoying.

Not everyone on here is a regular and understands your sophomoric humor (I am being generous) No more false posts of AEs being out.

Some people come here for information and you are detracting from it.

You can step up and do it voluntarily or we can do it other ways. Your call.

It has been going on for 2 years. I personally think it is hilarious because everyone gets so dramatic about it.

He does this every time there's an AE. He thinks it's funny. Everyone else thinks it's annoying. He was probably that kid ...

The last two pages of you guys whining about peleteo are funnier than both nine page chicken pun threads

At least there's some semblance of creativity involved in chicken puns. "AE is out" every time there's an AE is just rustling feathers.

The creativity is in how rustled your jimmies get every time

What is an AE without Peoloto claiming it’s out?
I don’t know if I want to read a forum without childish jokes.

I also vote this was funnier than the chicken puns.

AE is out (really...it is) on Deltanet > Crew Resources

Peoloto 09-09-2019 08:11 AM

AE is out.

The funny part is half the people won't believe this even though its actually true.

This AE is a nothing burger...hopefully the rumor of there being one in Nov/Dec is true.

I don’t think 43 will make a dent in the number of people that are going to cut a trail out of here when they get the chance.

Sounds like lots and lots of LCA trips to bid

One quick question about the 320 B positions. Didn't they displace quite a few people from ATL 320 B in a previous AE? Those people have priority for reinstatement. So instead of 15 positions to ATL, it looks more like about 5-10 I bet. Or is that number not counted?

flyingmau5 09-10-2019 08:24 AM

Come on... Where the heck is SEA A220 base?

Only saw a west coast base... But no mention whether it'd be SEA or LAX?

Or perhaps SFO.

Whatever the number is, ATL320B looks like it will continue to go very senior...

It's so dumb they displaced those 5 guys off ATL320B, although that was in character for the staffing model run this summer.

I don't see me having to fill out probationary pilot reports in the near future, however if the rumor is true that hiring has been approved up to 100 a month indefinitely in response to what happened this summer, that is likely to change sharply.

The CR letter said they are going to hire another 90 this year. So I doubt its 100 a month. I don't really trust what flight ops says with regards to staffing, they are not the ones who make the decision on that.

The CR letter said they increased their hiring plan by 90 for a total of 490. We’ve hired about 300 so far this year.

Your skepticism about what comes in the CR newsletter or from Flight Ops in general regarding hiring is definitely warranted.
