Negligible pay raise in the short term, but it will help you with your Yoga getting in and out of the 737.
Tell me about it....I hate getting a guy that all he talks about is “the bus” and how much he hates Boeing!

I would like to see the 73N and 320 lumped together if anything just for that that reason!

Goes both ways. Flew with Boeing guys new to the Bus (330). All I heard was how horrible the plane was and much they hated it. I flew with one FO who was going back to flying the 737 cuz it was so much better than the Bus.

Personally I would never want to fly the 737 but I would fly the ER. It’s not a hatred of all thing Boeing, it’s strictly limited to the 737

Heard word that the AE will be out early November. They are also planning to do 3 smaller bids instead of the MOAB

They are finally realizing that MOABs are not that great.

They put out a newsletter several years ago stating they were going back to smaller more frequent bids. They did not follow their own advice. Even given that they will have posted 5 bids this year and the issues most attribute to the big bid this year would have occurred even with smaller bids.

When Northwest switched over to monthly AEs, it was great for the pilots.

As it turns out it was even better for management.

Marketing changes their mind on a constant basis. Having one huge bid is like performing surgery with an axe.

Hopefully this is true and we will move toward smaller more frequent bids and it will help both partners as training demand soars to unprecedented levels.

Maybe, but the fact is they’ve already used their 1 MOAB for the year. If they want to start getting guys in training now, the only option is a non-MOAB.
