Alternatively alternatively, we could ask you. It would appear you have a few details that you could share.

The PWA is on DLNET, is the Dispatchers agreement on DLNET as well? Seems like their contract is kept hush hush.

That's interesting because right before the merger NWA had more terminations per year than Delta (according to management) and Delta was twice the size. Seems like a written contract would actually get rid of the bad ones instead of all the gray area that currently exists where who you know means more then common sense.

Since we are hypothesizing....the reason could also be that the ones with a contract(NWA) had a much worse attitude, manifesting itself in poor customer service/attendance....resulting in more "discipline".

Another possibility is that FA mgt was less accommodating to life's nuances and in the "game of 'a contract is a contract' " used discipline as a means of fear and intimidation to keep the "rule of law".....in other words...just another pizzing contest pitting one side against the other resulting in more of a hostile work environment

Hmmm....could be one, some or all of the mentioned reasons or something not mentioned yet

So many nuances

Sure both those are possible but if we look at the facts...NWA actually won a JD Power award whereas Delta never did. Somewhat difficult to do that with a bad attitude don't you think?

As far as the second option, also a possibility...but when rules are black and white both parties know what the expectations are.

My perspective from a rocking chair: the old DAL system worked best when top managers were people like Dave Garrett and Hollis Harris. That’s rare now.

Why aren't more people talking about the toxic chemicals in the uniforms that our FA's are being forced to wear? It's becoming ridiculous and needs to be addressed ASAP.

And if you don't even know what I'm talking about, do a quick google search and you'll be appalled by what you find.

These hardworking FA's need a union and it needs to be now.
