It was the advocacy that mattered.

So advocating for something that is correct is bad?

Why can't you guys get over him being a captain? It's literally just a dumb title. Seniority list pilots get bought off their trips per the contract whenever these guys fly. Someone gets PAID to not fly.

Sounds like the only problem is people's fragile egos.

Plus managers do such a minuscule and insignificant percentage of the flying that it really has no impact on the line pilots in that category. But I can totally see why when an out of seniority manager starts to throw around their "unearned" title that it bothers people. At my previous company we had a few managers who refused to fly as captains until their seniority could hold it and they earned a ton of respect for doing so.

The guy flying as a captain doesn’t bug me at all. However, having someone not on our Seniority List flying one of our jets does bug me.

But we’ve already established that you don’t care about those pesky scope violations...

Um this is just rumor control and pilots hating on a management type or something that is provable and actually happened?

There's no violation to our contract if someone is getting bought off their trip. Everyone is just being emotional about nothing.

Think hes referring to the 350 delivery debacle.

Spot On.

Did not happen. He never flew at Endeavor. However, he did bust P56 once at his first carrier as a line pilot. I think it was Mesa as a B1900 driver.

Sorry. I’m usually good at sarcasm but there is so much of it on here it’s hard to tell sometimes.
