I think we just gave SWA and JB the green light to expand.
When this AE is awarded, I don't think its irreversible. Yes the MD 88/90 guys are going to train. They can slow leak everything else. Lot's of chess being played right now not only with our management v. us pilots, but DAL vs AA, UAL, SWA, JB, etc.
It can also get worse. I really don't see the airlines recovering anytime in the next 5-8 years. Too much internal damage, Karen factor, and 24/7 fear mongering don't bode well. I expect the numbers to be revised late in the fall and would expect further fleet reductions and furloughs.
At least we have a "known" plan to us and the kompany will deviate from there as required.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. From everything I've heard we're still very bullish on the "4 corners" strategy and what they're doing now is being done to position us to be fierce competitors there. However if they really are in no talent hack groupthink analcyst lemming surrender mode and can't at least run with domestic competitors, then let's hit the lights on the way out and get the seniority reshuffle started.
If they can't out do SWA and JB after this long being this profitable they should close up shop.
I still think we'll undershrink and over perform in the recovery. But we shall see.

So 3 weeks ago Georgia announced they were going to reopen. Massive press coverage with every news source predicting a giant health disaster. The press does not even utter the word Georgia now. Can anyone tell me what happened? Is everyone in GA dead? Is the outcome in Georgia so bad it can’t even be whispered about? The world wants to know, what happened to Georgia? Where did it go?

Amazing right? We were all supposed to be dead by now. Except over 3 weeks later, our numbers keep declining. A perfect example of media bias.

Serious question... what (specifically) drives you to call this highly qualified physician "scum"? I'm asking because I truly am curious and am seeking to understand your disdain. You and I could have different feelings about that word, but for me it's aggresively derogatory.
There aren't many public servants (on either side of the isle) who have served the American people under six presidents who I would think to describe as scum. To the casual observer, this seems like a pretty healthy resume with some noteworthy accomplishments. https://www.niaid.nih.gov/about/anthony-s-fauci-md-bio.
Maybe this is just what a nation divided looks and sounds like. How unfortunate.

In that tradition this falls squarely on president Trump. This madness happened on his watch and is his fault.
PS. 89,500 dead and rising.
