I flew with several of the dirty 30. Don't quote, but one mentioned high six figure B fund he brought with him.

Even though it turned out poorly for the South pilots, there is some question that DAL could have be relegated to the dustbin of aviation history without the retirement cash to finance the NE merge and buy new equipment. Not much of a move for the Delta pilots, but better than Braniff.

Management might actually sell a 30 or 40 hr/month early out IF that hourly rate was based an an average of hourly pay over the last 12 months.....and not on the pay table number.
Dec 31st YTD/block hours.
Could trigger 1000+ to go.

The non-con employee ERP has been released on DeltaNet. Very impressive.
The company has also added S3A priority for all retirees, which puts retirees ahead of active 9E employees. Info out on DLNet.

6 S3A per year. I rather see unlimited, but it’s a step in the right direction.

How many hours does the retirement program say are in a week for full-time employees?
(Part time is 25 hours.)

S3A is only 6x a year and is same priority as 9E but more than likely most retirees seniority will beat most 9E employees.

40 hours per week is pretty standard for full time employees across corporate America. Not sure about this plan, haven’t read the details, but 40 hours per week would be a safe bet for full time employees-again, that’s pretty standard
