You said "it's bad enough" that half your flying is outsourced to regionals, but the AA/JB codeshare is "a new level." I just pointed out that Delta was at the "new level" with AS recently, and NW/CO previous to that. Are you ignorant to your scope language or just in denial? I'm not management; in fact, if I was I probably wouldn't be pointing out how far behind you are and suggest maybe you should examine JB scope to make improvements to your own.

The AS stuff came with the NW merger but you already know that. We killed it when we could. I really don’t care what you guys do but if I was an American pilot I’d be livid. Huge future growth could have come from them feeding their own flights. No majors have been feeding other major/legacies until AA. You fly the same aircraft they do. It’d be like DL having Spirit feed our new FLL hub. That’d go over like a turd in a punch bowl. I find it hard to believe their contract allows it.

The only reason we have a SEA hub is because of Alaska's own arrogance and ****ing off Richard and the Board.

When Richard stood there next to AS's CEO at SEA way back when to announce an enhanced code-share to build DL INTL expansion, the plan was to run off Alaska's feed. A month or so later when AS announced an enhanced deal with AA, RA went public prosecutor and the back-up plan to build our own SEA hub was signed off on by the board. So we have all that flying, which basically started with OO RJ7's, to thank due to Alaska's Brad and Ben!

And shortly after we announced our hub at SEA, Brad called Richard and told him AS would oblige. The story goes RA told him the call was collusion and hungup. Heard it several ways from SEA/ATL Leadership over the years but it circles around this.

Any potential future AA flying up/down the west coast is gone - to AS.

JB ALPA negotiated no change to Min Guarantee, an ALV reduction of 4 hours for Lineholders (74 to 70) and by the way, you can pick up open time above guarantee. A reduction of 5 hours (75 to 70) for Reserve guarantee w/ 2 additional hard days off in exchange for the (5 hrs) for the Reserve guys/gals.

All of this with a SnapBack guarantee and NO furloughs. How is this not considered a good thing?? Pilots will complain about anything I guess.

You posted about people being oblivious, but I don’t think you were talking about the right people.

To confirm, you are also saying your posts were disingenuous because of “contract negotiations?” That’s a good line. Stick with that.

Since you've investigated my post history, you'll notice I haven't posted over on the AA section. I didn't see any ignorant posts or JB attacks to respond to over there. Like I said, there's no reason to pick a fight. No surprise, however, when I came to the Delta sub I found a lot of misinformation and antagonistic posts which I responded to with facts. Apparently you don't like those facts, so you attack the messenger. That's fine. But perhaps some people could educate themselves on the JB and AA scope language before they make laughably inaccurate statements regarding them in what appears to be an effort to project their own ill-perceived superiority.

Good chat.

Is your pay check going to be reduced? If so, by how much for how long? Reserve or line? Is there enough extra time to pickup for everyone to get back to the previous hours/pay?

“Honestly, I clicked over to the Delta sub because I'd know I'd find a thread on this subject full of arrogant and ignorant posts authored by a bunch of guys embodying the Capt. D. Bag stereotype their "air line's" pilot group has earned industry-wide.”

That’s your first post in this thread. I think the average bystander would call that coming over to another airline’s forum to pick a fight. Please ask those in your immediate vicinity to point you in the direction of some self-awareness.
