if they reduced your ALV, they touched your pay.

That’s section 23 and contractual. If ALV is adjusted, it will be temporary and in accordance with the LOA. I trust our current union to negotiate the best possible scenario for us. Any details are pure speculation at this point. Maybe Scooter can wait until he runs his mouth. A huge burden has just been relieved for many families here, and another pilot just can’t wait to trash it...makes me ill.

Explain wise guy how you and everyone are getting screwed over. Be specific.

Scooter, we are waiting. Please tell us.

Not necessarily. As long as guarantee doesn’t change. You could reduce it and build more lines as long as you still have the ability to add, drop and swap. I would be in favor of this to guarantee no furloughs. Sounds like it goes away the same time as the no furlough clause. Nice work. If that’s actually how it plays out. Sec 23.a is just the language that gives the ability to open up the entire agreement FYI. Assuming it’s the same as f9 Alpa language which it seems to be. Furlough mitigation.

I don't know if some of these guys spouting off are DAL pilots, I certainly hope not. I've been furloughed before and watched as guys still picked up open time...a real kick to the nads.

Im sure your 2500 Delta brothers and sisters that got letters today feel warm and cozy reading your comments you wouldn't temporarily reduce ALV or something to keep everyone employed. You don't even know the details of the LOA. Maybe JB is setting the bar here. I hope so and am glad all the Jr JB guys and gals can stop worrying about if they are hitting the street or not. Congrats.

To the DAL pilots facing a possible furlough, I hope something pulls through and can be worked out for you. Everyone emails a bunch of furlough resources and preparation advice to the pilots which is great, but it all lies on us as individuals to make ends meet. It sucks and hopefully there will be minimal if none, and short lived. I can tell you...for me on the street for 2 plus years, my brothers and sisters having my back meant the world. Knowing they keep flying but not forgetting the ones not. And fighting to get them back. Best of luck to you.

What an ignorant thing to say. They just saved I don’t know how many of our pilot’s jobs without letting the company touch our pay or compensation. Maybe wait for the exact details before you run your fuqing mouth you clown.

If things continue the way they are, or get worse, they will still furlough..Force majeure/ bankruptcy.

Feel better? You guys seem very sensitive about what’s happening at other airlines. Probably best to waste your energy worrying about yourselves. By May of next year, we will have some kind of vaccine and things will be a lot better heading into the summer....especially for any domestic/leisure travel airline like Southwest or the LCC’s. If you charge exorbitant fares to take some businessmen over to Europe, it’s going to be a longer struggle.

Aren't you over on the Delta forum section, it must be you interested in what is happening at other airlines?

Yeah I saw a thread created with my airline’s name attached to it. Not sure why I clicked it knowing it would be a bunch of Delta pilots bashing it, that was a mistake. No other Major sub-forum is starting multiple threads about what is happening elsewhere. Just look at the top two right now.

How many delta pilots does it take to screw in a light bulb?
