Concession was the JB desire to merge with DAL, but it will be as a regional feed, with the same seniority list integration and access as EDV.

There, that should bring you full circle to my favorite JB jumpseat rumor: being bought up and merged with DAL.

Pattern bargaining? Up until 4 months ago I was told Delta was supposed to be in a completely different league, in no way comparable to B6?! But now everyone is in it together huh? How about just hold off on judgement until the actual LOA comes out.

While I agree that concessions are counterproductive in the long run...can we at least wait until we find out what the give was before we tar and feather the B6ers?

Doesn't matter the flavor. Precedent is set.

Waiting now for the headline....maybe it goes something like this:
"Jet Blue pilots give concessions to help save company" or something along those lines.

It will be the header of a John Laughter email on how “circumstances have changed” and they no longer feel that VEOP is an appropriate course to pursue when competitors are able to dictate a surrender, with terms to be announced later, to their unionized pilots.

You’re talking about our pilot group as a whole, whereas a small group of representatives agreed to whatever this is without membership ratification. Whether or not the pilots agreed or disagreed we weren’t asked. That’s the rub here. Yes, they’re elected representatives. However, I would have liked to see this go to a vote just as a function of parliamentary procedure.
